Agua De Piña

Agua de piña is a delicious and refreshing way to cool down with simple ingredients on a hot day with a touch of spicy ginger.

Serves: 8 Servings 

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients: 

  1. One entire pineapple
  2. Ginger – 1 inch piece
  3. Lemon –  x2
  4. Cane Sugar – ¾ cup
  5. Water –  1 Quart

Instructions:

  1. Use fresh cut pineapple and add to the blender, add the peeled and sliced ginger and add to the blender.
  2. Squeeze a lemon into the blender, add sugar & water.
  3.  Blend on high speed, strain through sieve or mesh strainer, and serve with ice.

Notes:

Last 2 days in the fridge.

Bonus: add fresh mint in the pitcher with the juice.
