Hi Friends!

I’m Janelee and I wanted to introduce myself for those of you who haven’t met me yet.

I’ve been vegan for 15 years, and vegetarian for 2 years prior to that. Here are some of the answers to the big questions people tend to ask me when they find out I’m a vegan.

I’m an empath who feels bad about how animals are killed for food. The decision was made out of the love for animals and all sentient beings.

My morals and values are highly politicized in the world we live in, so naturally I’m seen as radical, extreme or downright crazy. If you ask me, it’s crazy that people kill so many animals for food.

Being vegan has taught me to be a better person and to lead with love! We need more of this in our modern life, we are so detached from the reality of what others go through. Empathy is a skill you learn, and the more you use it, the better you are at detecting when to be more empathetic.
